Nokia + Android is even a possibility?

As we all know that Nokia, for a mere two years already been working hard and rocking on their Lumia devices running Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 and Windows Phone 8 OS. Who would ever though that Nokia is actually indeed working on an Android powered device?

Just a week ago, things started to heat up on the possibilities of Nokia working on Android device. Despite the recent acquisition of Nokia by Microsoft, the effort hasn't been turned down due to the fact that the acquisition is not yet fully done.

These rumours had originated from China, and yes we mentioned China because that it where most of Nokia's R&D work is going. The prototype codename "Mountain View" is still pretty much in development and has been said to delivered almost 10 thousand prototypes for testing purpose by Foxconn!

On the technical side, the Mountain View is said running on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 200 chipset and is intended to be an affordable device. However though, we wouldn't be surprised if the project does get turned down anytime of the day but we will definitely see the project running at least until the end of the year before Microsoft's acquisition of Nokia is fully secured. Personally, I would love to see an Android powered Nokia device one day as it will bring more variety to the market.

In the mean time, you can head over to Nokia's website @ www.nokia.com for more information on their stunning Nokia Lumia powered by Windows Phone 8.

GALAXY Tab 10.1 Review

So, right now I'm reviewing the new GALAXY Tab 10.1 by Samsung and it's quite the tech. It features the Samsung's own TouchWiz user interface implemented on the Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) platform whichgives you awesome interaction & navigation. It also has sharper HD quality screen. Not forgetting the dual speaker (one on each side) provides a more surround-sound.

The GALAXY Tab 10.1

FYI, it's also thinner then iPad 2 by 0.2mm making it the thinnest mobile tablet available at only 8.6mm and at 565g in weight. Oh, btw, I'm actually blogging using the new GALAXY Tab 10.1. The wifi is kinda low and laggy, also the typing function is a little pesky but the tab itself is awesome. There's two colors so far which is Black & White, black having matte and white having glossy back respectively. The screen is a WXGA TFT LCD display (1280x800) which is powered by 1GHz dual core AP.

Me blogging about it.

The 2 different colors it comes in.

The GALAXY Tab 10.1 also have Live Panel also helps you customize your widgets in terms of size to fit in more or have less. However, the Mini Apps Tray is not something new thus it was of no surprise to me. Overall, it is a good piece equipment to have and a little better then the iPad 2 in terms of thinness, camera and screen quality.

I'd give it a 8/10. (P/S: All pictures were taken with the 3.0 Mega Pixel Main (Rear) Camera of the GALAXY Tab 10.1)
