MTV World Stage 2011

It's 2 in the morning. Kinda lazy to type, so... Here it is ctrl-c and ctrl-v straight from MTV website (with a little editing here and there);

MTV Networks Asia announced that MTV World Stage will be held in Malaysia for the third time running on July 24th, 2011 at a new venue, i-City in Shah Alam. The outdoor concert will feature live performances from popular international, regional and local recording artists. The first two acts announced to perform are the award-winning rock band Thirty Seconds To Mars and popular local band Pop Shuvit
"We are thrilled to return for the third year with MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia. We promise to deliver exciting live performances that will fuel the energy of our 15,000 World Stage fans who have shown us incredible support and enthusiasm over past two years,” said Indra Suharjono, Viacom International Media Networks' executive vice-president and managing director of North and Southeast Asia (Now, that is one LONG title and I am sure there is more than 15,000 fans right?). “I’m pleased to welcome our sponsors and fans to the third staging of MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia held at i-City. The new venue will provide a spectacular backdrop, perfect to celebrate the best in live music entertainment.”
MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 will be staged in front of a live audience of about 15,000 fans (Again, I'm pretty sure there's a lot more). The 2-hour on-air version of MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 will premiere on MTV SEA channel on 8 August at 10pm (Indonesia), 11pm (Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines) and 12am (Malaysia). An hour-long version of MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 will also be broadcast globally in 154 countries reaching over 550 million households later in the year.
Artist and ticketing details will be announced in the coming weeks.
 There you have it, straight from the horse's mouth so to speak. :) Wait for more updates soon.
